Surfs up! part 2

Still on a surfing theme, I was in Brighton one wet dull evening when I spotted these two chaps with surf boards walking along Brighton beach! For those of you who don't know Brighton that well, it is not known for its great surf. So I followed them to see where they were going.
There chosen spot was between Brighton pier and the large groin running alongside it, not for the faint hearted! I watched them for about ten minutes from Brighton pier, which is where this photo is taken from. They did manage to stand a couple of times but not for very long. Good on them for having a go!

Surfs up!

A couple of wind surfers enjoying a very windy day just off Goring beach. They where heading towards the beach at great speed and then spinning 180 and heading back out again, very cool!

Funky Moped!

This is a photo of a custom built scooter that a friend built. It started life as a standard scooter, was then chopped in half and extended, longer front forks put on and a fuel tank from a motorbike fitted, plus loads of other custom parts. He has since sold this bike and is now working on his next project.
I was really pleased with the photo, the way the black body work and chrome parts really shine.

Welcome!

Hi and welcome to the all new photobell.com blog. I will be using this blog to run along side my photography website (photobell.com) to discuss the ins and outs of my photography and my website. I will also be posting all my new photo's here before they make it to my website and go on sale.
Hope you enjoy the blog and have a look at my website photobell.com
I am currently in the process of redesigning it as I have not updated it in a while and I now no longer shoot digital.
All of my photos now are shot on 35mm black & white film using a rangefinder camera. I process the film myself and print everthing in my own darkroom.
It has been quite nice not to use a computer in my photography but even with analog photography, to build my website and this blog means hours of scanning negatives and editing in photoshop.
